Well, we are getting closer and closer to starting on our build. The Tech department will be over on Wednesday to get our webcams, mics, Skype, and everything on the up and up so that we can start talking with some experts. The maintenance department has come over to take a look at the stand and we will be reinforcing and painting that. The wheels are turning, things are going fast. Just a few more things to get taken care of before we get underway. The tentative schedule is to construct the tank on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday...April 6th-9th. This will be exciting time for the kids, as Wade from The Coral Merchant has agreed to fly out, help me construct the tank, and give the kids a little presentation. They will get a very good Q and A session with him. More details will be released when we finalize these plans!
The kids research continues...I need to get some of that posted, but I have a class of perfectionists that wanted the weekend to try and get everything close to perfect, I told them Monday I have to get something up. I am usually pretty exact on my deadlines, but when doing a project like this the details are key...and there are many of them. Do it once, do it right.
I did happen to get a couple more agreements done over the weekend and will be releasing them on Monday when they get me a logo and write up to post.
We still have some little things that we could use for donations and possibly one more major expense. If you want to help out use the want to help page and click on the button or the contact page and drop me a line. Just click the Coral Merchant button below this post and it will take you right to the site.
Thank you so much that has brought this little dream of ours to reality. The project moved along way faster than I ever imagined it would, thanks in part to the long hours and hard work by many people. I can't believe we are going to pull this off! Until tomorrow...Make it a great day!
